UNDERFLOOR HEATING CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
Underfloor heating climate control systems have been designed as an alternative to the traditional systems of radiators and provide greater energy savings and degree of comfort within the dwelling.
The climate control system uses the dwelling’s floor itself as the element for transmission.
The system’s basic functioning system consists of forcing medium temperature water (around 40º C) through pipe circuits which are inserted in a layer of cement mortar on top of which the final flooring is placed.
In winter, the mortar absorbs the heat dispersed by the pipes and passes it on to the flooring above which, in turn, emits this energy towards the room’s walls and ceiling.
Underfloor heating systems make it possible to make major energy and CO2 emission savings in combination with sources of renewable energy such as aerothermia.
